Economy in the Community

Beyond the beautiful landscapes that we create, Economy Landscaping can be found in the community volunteering its time and resources to numerous organizations across Edmonton. The service and donations rendered go on to support communities in ways that landscaping never will. Charities and beneficiaries include Big Brothers Big Sisters, Santa’s Anonymous and Valour place.

Big Brothers Big Sisters

bbbsBig Brothers and Big Sisters is committed to providing quality mentorship programs to children and youth. All mentors give their time on a volunteer basis. Their vision is to set these young people on a path to a fulfilling career and where they can be leaders in their communities.

Economy has provided the venue for the charity’s golf tournaments.

Santa's Anonymous

santa-anonIt was radio announcer Jerry Forbes’ vision that every child would receive a gift at Christmas. Over the years since then, the team at 630 CHED and members of the community have worked hard as elves to make these wishes come true.

Economy has provided new toys to children in Edmonton during the Holiday season. We have also been actively engaged in various events such as Christmas parties and collecting donations and toys from our clients, customers and employees. Economy has gone on to match all these donations.

Valour Place

valourValour Place is a military family support house that provides temporary accommodations and medical treatment for Canadian forces and their families. These people are typically from out-of-town and are suffering from the loss of a loved one or personal injury, either mental or physical.

Economy has significantly discounted all landscaping services offered to Valour Place.
